I'm back...The new non-fiction novel, "Death by Incarceration" is moving along and will be available this coming April. "Blood Moon Murders", the fourth installment in the Hap Pozner series, will be out the end of May.
In addition to the books I'm working on I have been a presenters on a panel at the Wilmington BAM! (Books-A-Million) on poetry and an author/speaker at the LCAC (Leland Cultural Arts Center) at a recent book fair.
I will be on a Murder Mystery panel at the Wilmington BAM! on October 15th and I will again be an author/speaker at the LCAC book fair on November 12th.
On Saturaday, October 29th I will be at The Bookworm in East Aurora, NY giving a reading from my books including a preview of "Death by Incarceration" from 11am-1pm in the back meeting room.

Okay, so I've been missing for a while. Sorry. But I'm back. This past year has seen some strange events in my writing. I have begun a new book in the Hap Pozner series, as well as a novel that is going to be the beginning of a new series. But, probably more interesting, I've been working on a non-fiction novel; a genre made popular by Truman Capote when he wrote "In Cold Blood".
I'm working on the story of a man serving two consecutive life sentences for a double homicide. This story dates back to the mid-1990s and was a very high-profile case for a number of reasons.
But I'll have to end it there for now, since I wouldn't want to give too much away too early. I will drop more hints as the book progresses and will expect it to be released sometime this Spring (2017).

I took part in "Book 'Em North Carolina, held in Lumberton, NC each year at Robeson Community College. This event raises money for literacy in North Carolina.
I was fortunate to run into some old friends (authors like Trish Terrell, Regina Jeffers, James Kaufman and Alan Thompson - to name a few) from previous events, and to meet new friends as well.
