It's time I stepped more fully into the 21st Century - yeh, that's right; I'm adding a BLOG page. I hope this will become fully interactive over the coming months. My goal here is to post things related to writing and just plain enjoyment of literature that I hope you share. And please post comments and/or your own thoughts about the topics. I intend to get this fully running by June. But, in the meantime, don't be shy to post your thoughts as I gear up for the new year.
By the way, a few things I am requesting concerning any posts here: Please no foul language, lewd or hurtful comments - toward anyone. If you need to vent or rant please see your local therapist. If you'd like to share ideas or thoughts about literature or author''s style, etc. please post them here.
I'd love to hear what you think current trends in writing are today. That is, are you reading more fiction, non-fiction, poetry, etc.? Do you see more people reading the classics?
This next one is an older post, but I still think it's relevant. Your thoughts
Lately, I've begun to see more and more remakes of old (& usually great) movies. I suppose with today's technology an old movie can be made even better by this advancement; or does it?
Along the same lines, I've also noticed writers rewrite classics, sometimes updating them, sometimes not. I have to wonder if it is merely an exercise or does the reading public want to see great literature rewritten by modern day writers? Your thoughts...
I am looking forward to a renewed sense of purpose in my writing. "Blood Moon Murders" will be released in the spring of 2017. It has been eclipsed by the new book I've become entwined in; a non-fiction novel of a murderer, his life, his crime and his redemption. Several other projects will be following as well.
Please check back often as I plan on updating and adding new and (hopefully) interesting things to this site.
